The weather clock...

The day starts off sunny but at 3pm and i mean exactly 3pm you can hear a rumbling sound in the distance .. *kkrrrrraaaaakkkkkwwwwww* and in exactly 30 seconds flat its pouring down on your head..and i dont mean drizzle.. i mean torrential rain!! (Woll remember our days in vietnam? once he thought someone spat at him from a window above but 1 second later it was pouring down on us... rain not spit :-p ) hahahaha Anyway, isn't it weird that it always rains at the same time?!

Nothing much to say about today - i just roamed around the city... found a street market where i had a late lunch. I stopped at this Chinese-looking street stall and after i sat down i realised it was all Hong Kong theme cos they had huge posters on the wall and the food on the menu was listed with names of places in Hk. hehehe i thought it was quite funny. Unfortunately they didnt have chicken feet on the menu but i ordered noodles with duck and obviously the meat was served with bones and all. Why oh why do they do this?! Well i guess it could have been worse.. i could have got duck feet in my bowl.

This market was also packed with stalls selling Durian fruit (Ma nixtrilek wiehed?) and im telling you it stinks! They actually say it tastes delicious but i swear it smells so bad i dont think i could get round to tasting it. Besides the food there was this funny guy standing near his parked motorbike and on this bike were about 10 cats all curled up sleeping on each other! His motorbike seat was covered in leopard print material to match! hahahah i had no clue what the hell he was doing. It was hilarious... i wish i took a photo! I will definitely go look for him next time.

Tomorrow i'm leaving KL and getting a bus to Cameron Highlands which is a couple of hours away. There is some great trekking and some nice places to see so i'll keep you updated from there!
